Tomas Venclova, professor of Slavic languages and literature, was recently awarded the Lithuanian order of Cross of Vytis. This is the third decoration he has received in the last few years. Venclova's book of selected poems was recently a main feature at the recent Baltic Book Fair held in Vilnius, Lithuania.
