Daniel E. Rosner, professor and chair of chemical engineering, has won the 1999 D. Sinclair Award of the American Association of Aerosol Research (AAAR).
The award recognizes sustained excellence in aerosol research and technology.
Rosner's research on gas-borne particles, among other subjects, has relevance in air pollution control engineering and semi-conductor processing, as well as other areas. Rosner is also the author of an award-winning textbook-treatise titled "Transport Processes in Chemically Reacting Flow Systems," which is being reprinted this year.
