Paul H. Fry, the William Lampson Professor of English, has been reappointed as master of Ezra Stiles College for a five-year term that will begin July 1.
In a letter to the Stiles community, President Richard C. Levin noted that the reappointment had been recommended by a committee of the residential college's students and fellows, which was chaired by Timothy Guinnane, professor of economics and co-chair of the Council on European Studies at the Yale Center for International and Area Studies.
"[T]he committee described the enthusiasm and dedication that Master Fry and Associate Master Brigitte Peucker, chair and professor of Germanic languages and literatures and professor of film studies, bring to the Ezra Stiles community," wrote Levin. "They have done a great deal to foster the academic and extracurricular life of the college, especially in the area of literature and the arts."
