Academy sponsors talk on state's economy
The Connecticut Academy of Arts and Sciences, a scholarly organization affiliated with Yale, is sponsoring a lecture titled "What's New About the New Economy, and Where Does Connecticut Fit In?" at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, University of Connecticut, Storrs.
The lecture will be given by William A. McEachern, professor of economics at the University of Connecticut and editor-in-chief of The Connecticut Economy: A University of Connecticut Quarterly. The event is free and the public is invited. For more information, call (203) 432-3113, ext. 2.
