Two Yale faculty members will be visiting local bookstores this week to walk about their latest works.
Matthew Jacobson, associate professor of American studies, history and African American studies, will discuss and sign copies of his new book "Barbarian Virtues: The United States Encounter Foreign Peoples at Home and Abroad, 18761917" at Book Haven, 290 York St., on Tuesday, April 11, 45:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. In his new book "The Limits of Law," Peter H. Schuck, the Simeon E. Baldwin Professor of Law, examines the social and political forces which support the perceived legitimacy of the law. Schuck will discuss and sign copies of his book at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at the Yale Bookstore, 77 Broadway.
