Kaplan will discuss national strategy for HIV prevention as Omega Rho Lecturer
Edward H. Kaplan, professor of management science and public health at the Yale School of Management, will discuss a proposal for a national HIV prevention strategy as the 21st Omega Rho Distinguished Lecturer for the Salt Lake City INFORMS Conference, which will be held May 710. Kaplan, who is nationally known for his research on AIDS prevention, was recently appointed to a committee that is helping devise an HIV prevention plan for the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As the guest speaker, Kaplan will be inducted as an honorary member of the Omega Rho Honor Society.
