The other Yale presenters and the books they will discuss are:

Oct. 14: Jonathan Holloway, assistant professor of history, "To Keep the Waters Troubled: The Life of Ida B. Wells" by Linda McMurray.
Oct. 21: Rogers Smith, the Cowles Professor of Government, "Morgan: American Financier" by Jean Strouse.
Nov. 4: Gaddis Smith, the Larned Professor of History, "The Color of Truth: McGeorge Bundy and William Bundy, Brothers in Arms" by Kai Bird.

The series also includes alumnus Paul Bass, Yale College Class of 1982. On Oct. 28 Bass, editor of the New Haven Advocate, will discuss "The Times of My Life and My Life with the Times" by Max Frankel.
"Books Sandwiched In" is sponsored by the Friends of the New Haven Free Public Library. Participants are invited to bring their own lunches. Coffee, tea and cookies are available 11:20 a.m.-12:10 p.m. in the basement of the church, which is located on the corner of Temple and Elm streets.
