Meeting to focus on libraries' future renovations

The Phase 2 Library Planning Committee is inviting students and faculty to attend one of the public meetings at which conceptual designs for the renovation of Cross Campus Library and the Sterling Memorial Library (SML) entry floor will be presented.

The meetings will include a presentation by the architectural team, followed by an open discussion of any aspect of the plan that interests attendees. Documents pertinent to the discussion may be consulted at the committees' website, www.library.yale.edu/Administration/phasetwo.html.

The times and locations of the meetings are as follows:

* Graduate students: 1:45-3:15 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21 and Wednesday, Oct. 27 in the SML lecture hall

* Faculty members: 4-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21 in Rm. 101, Linsly-Chittenden and 4-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 in the SML lecture hall.

* Undergraduate students: 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21 and Wednesday, Oct. 27, in the SML lecture hall.
