Members of Locals 34 and 35 are invited to come learn more about the University's annual United Way Employee Campaign at information sessions being held on campus this week
The meetings will feature a screening of a film about the United Way and a question-and-answer session about the fundraising drive, the only annual solicitation sponsored by Yale University. They will be run by United Way representatives; Daisy Rodriquez, assistant vice president of community relations; and Laura Smith and Bob Proto, presidents of Locals 34 and 35, respectively.
The first meeting will take place 2-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, in the auditorium of the Yale Child Study Center, 230 So. Frontage Rd. The second will be held 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, in Kline Geology Auditorium, 210 Whitney Ave.
Department heads are asked to give employees one hour release time to attend these meetings, subject to their operating needs.
