Remington to discuss new book on Darwin
As part of the free lunch-hour series "Books Sandwiched In," Charles L. Remington, Professor Emeritus of Ecology/ Evolutionary Biology, will lead a discussion of Steve Jones's "Darwin's Ghost: The Origin of Species Updated" on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 12:10-1 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the New Haven Free Public Library, the discussion will take place at the United Church on the Green, corner of Temple and Elm streets. Participants are invited to bring a lunch; coffee, tea and cookies will be available for purchase in the basement of the church 11:20 a.m.-12:10 p.m.
