Yale, ranked 12th in the latest Finish-Lynx national poll, can earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships by finishing first or second at the District I Qualifier on Saturday. The Bulldogs last appearance in the NCAA Championship came in 1990 when they finished 22nd.

Senior Christine Anthony (Oklahoma City, OK) finished as Yale's leading scorer with 14 points (7 goals). Her younger sister, sophomore Suzanne Anthony (Oklahoma City, OK), was second with 13 points (6 goals, 1 assist).

Senior Anne Rippetoe (Los Altos, CA) was named a NFHCA Division I all-star. She will participate in the North/South Senior All-Star game on Nov. 18 at Old Dominion.

Senior Eric Johnson (Needham, MA) had two touchdown receptions against Brown. He now has seven TD catches in the last three games. His 68 receptions this season is a new school record, breaking the mark he set last year. Johnson also had a career-long 72-yard punt against Brown.

Nov. 11 vs. Clarkson, 7 p.m., Ingalls Rink

Yale scored two shorthanded goals, including the game-winner by junior Luke Earl (Simsbury, CT) in the victory over New Hampshire. The Bulldogs had only two shorthanded goals all of last season.

The loss was only the second for New Hampshire at home over the past three seasons. During that span, the Wildcats are 37-2-6 at the Whittemore Center.

Senior Jane Resor (Greenwich, CT) scored Yale's goal against Providence.

Freshman Nicolette Franck (Burlington, ONT) made 27 saves in her collegiate debut against Northeastern.

Sophomore Chandra King (Mission Viejo, CA) finished as the team leader in points with 26 (9 goals, 8 assists). It is the fourth highest in school history.

Nov. 10 vs. Dartmouth, 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs are the fourth seed for the Ivy League Championships. They play No. 4 Dartmouth in the first round. The winner of that match will meet the winner of the Princeton-Columbia match in the semifinals on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Senior Stephanie McMahon (Manhattan Beach, CA) had her eighth double-double of the season in the victory over Stony Brook. She recorded 18 kills and 11 digs.

The Bulldogs have won five of their last six matches.
