Talking and Teaching: Bill Cosby and Roland Clement

Actor and comedian Bill Cosby spread good cheer around campus even before he took the stage of Woolsey Hall for his L.E.A.P. benefit. Here he shares a few moments with (from left) Jane Levin; Yale students Samantha Culp, Tamar Rubenstein, Meredith Levine and Natalie Krinsky; and President Richard C. Levin.

Artist and naturalist Roland Clement offers advice about sketching birds to Joan Hickey of Hamden during his class on "How to Paint a Bird." The class was sponsored by the Peabody Museum of Natural History, and participants used the specimens in the museum's ornithological collection as models for their artwork.
