Tumbling Time: A Photo Essay

In a class offered twice a week at the Payne Whitney Gymnasium, area youngsters ages 4 to 13 are learning basic gymnastic skills, such as tumbling, jumping, headstands and handstands, as well as how to walk on the balance beam and swing from the parallel bars. The class has been co-taught for the past two years by Yale sophomores Alice Wolfram and Marti Morgan, and will be offered again in the spring semester. Photographs by Michael Marsland.
