There will be a memorial service on Saturday, Sept. 24, for Joseph Goldstein, Sterling Professor Emeritus of Law and the Derald H. Ruttenberg Professorial Lecturer in Law.
Professor Goldstein, who died on March 12 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, was an alumnus of the Law School and a member of its faculty for nearly 50 years. His many publications addressed a wide and varied range of topics -- from criminal law to constitutional law to the intersection among the disciplines of law, psychiatry and psychoanalysis.
Members of the Yale community are invited to the service, which will be held in the Law School's Levinson Auditorium, 127 Wall St.
