Nuland, clinical professor of surgery (gastroenterology), will discuss "The Mysteries Within: A Surgeon Reflects on Medical Myths" on Oct. 12.

Ruff Jr., adjunct professor at the School of Music -- Allan Keiler's "Marian Anderson: A Singer's Journey," Oct. 26; Gaddis Smith, the Larned Professor Emeritus of History -- Frances Fitzgerald's "Way Out There in the Blue: Reagan, Star Wars, and the End of the Cold War," Nov. 2; Howard R.
