Prior to joining Hershey, Wolfe served in the United States Navy and worked for Bankers Trust Company, New York. Currently a director of Hershey Trust Company and a member of the Board of Managers of the Milton S. Hershey School and the M.S. Hershey Foundation, he is a board member of the Grocery Manufacturers of America, the Pennsylvania Business Roundtable and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. The Gordon Grand Fellowship at Yale promotes dialogue and understanding between today's business leaders and students at Yale. The fellowship was established in 1973 to honor Gordon Grand, a graduate of the Yale College Class of 1938, and president and chief executive officer of the Olin Corporation. During his lifetime, Grand endeavored to bridge the gap between business and academia by actively promoting the exchange of ideas and viewpoints between these sectors. Today, the Gordon Grand Fellowship continues this tradition by inviting prominent business leaders to Yale for one- to three-day visits.
