The Norfolk Chamber Music Festival will present the inaugural Debut Prize concert in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on Monday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m.

The Storioni Piano Trio and the Trio Valanté will perform as the 1999 winners of the Debut Prize, which provides a recital debut at Weill Hall to the most outstanding chamber ensemble with strings or strings and piano at the Yale Summer School of Music.

Holland's Storioni Piano Trio was formed in 1995 with violinist Wouter Vossen, cellist Marc Vossen and pianist Bart van de Roer. The Trio Valanté was formed in 1998 at the Yale School of Music; the group's members are violinist Lisa Shihoten, cellist Patrick Jee and pianist Tanya Bannister.

Tickets for the concert may be purchased by phone at (203) 432-1966 or (212) 247-7800, or by email at norfolk@yale.edu.
