Concert to benefit Dwight Hall

There will be nary an instrument in sight when singing groups from Yale and Princeton join together on Saturday, Nov. 11, in an a capella benefit concert for Dwight Hall.

Titled "Songs for Service," the show will bring together the Wiffenpoofs and Whim 'n Rhythm of Yale and the Princeton Nassoons, three groups that have earned national renown for their a cappella performances. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. in Battell Chapel, corner of College and Elm streets.

The show was organized by student leaders at Dwight Hall at Yale, the nonprofit, student-run center dedicated to promoting public service and social justice. Dwight Hall is the home base for over 65 student-run programs and 2,000 volunteers serving the Greater New Haven community.

Tickets for "Songs for Service" are $20 for the general public, $5 for students. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Dwight Hall at (203) 432-2420.
