Black cancels Yale show

Comedian and commentator Lewis Black has cancelled his scheduled appearance at Woolsey Hall on Friday, April 9, due to a new television commitment.

Black's appearance was part of the Yale Repertory Theatre's 2004 Special Events season. Ticketholders may receive a refund or convert their tickets for the next offering in the series, "Matt & Ben," on Wednesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre, 222 York St. The latter show, based on the real-life collaboration of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, is written and performed by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers, and directed by David Warren.
