The Yale Center for British Art will remain open until 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights through Nov. 19. The museum will host a variety of events on these days, including concerts, lectures and tours, all of which are free and open to the public. The Yale Club of New Haven will host a pre-publication event on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the New Haven Lawn Club for Douglas Rae's new book, "CITY: Urbanism and Its End." Rae is the Richard Eli Professor of Organization and Management and professor of political science. He will speak and sign copies of the book at the event.
