Leah Nero, a student at the School of Nursing, was awarded the 2005 Alumni of the United States Senate Youth Program Graduate Scholarship.
Nero was an honored guest at a dinner held on Capitol Hill in the Capitol Building on Friday, Feb. 25. She was also invited to sit at a table with industry experts to provide information on the nursing profession to high school students who received William Randolph Hearst Senate Youth Scholarships.
