Calvin Hill opens new art studio

Calvin Hill Day Care Center recently opened a new two-story art studio.

The center, which was founded by Yale students, is a nationally accredited model educational preschool program serving the campus and city.

The new studios were designed by Yale and New Haven architects Lisa Gray and Alan Organschi.

"We are thrilled to have such vibrant and beautiful space for expanding our curriculum, where children can engage in ongoing, creative long-term projects," said Calvin Hill director Carla Horwitz. "The rooms are filled with light and are joyous spaces for children and adults to work together."

The center is located at 150 Highland St. For more information call (203) 764-9350.
