Golden girl
Julie Foudy, who won gold medals in the 1996 and 2004 Olympics and was recently named by The Sporting News as one of the "Most Powerful People," has a new accomplishment to add to her many accolades -- while on campus she was awarded a Kiphuth Medal. The medal is one of the Athletic Department's most prestigious honors. Foudy also gave a public talk on the topic "Going for Gold" during her Yale visit
