Richard Lalli to perform at benefit gala
for the Neighborhood Music School

Richard Lalli, adjunct associate professor of music, will perform at a benefit gala for the Neighborhood Music School (NMS) on Saturday, Nov. 12.

The gala, titled "Let's Do It!" will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight at the New Haven Lawn Club. The event "will evoke the urbane and sophisticated mood of Cole Porter's words and music."

Tickets are $175 for the full evening; $50 for dessert and dancing from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Honorary chairs of the gala are President Richard C. Levin and his wife, Jane.

NMS is a not-for-profit institution founded in New Haven in 1911. It offers a broad variety of music, dance and drama instruction. The school's mission is to increase access to arts education. NIMS is supported by financial aid and community outreach programs.

For more information, contact Kathleen Brophy at (203) 624-5189, ext. 24, or kathleen@nmsmusicschool.org, or visit www.nmsmusicschool.org.
