Dwight Hall hosts an online and silent auction to raise funds to support its community programs

Dwight Hall at Yale, the Center for Public Service and Social Justice, is hosting its second annual online and silent auction.

The online portion of the auction will run through April 24. There will also be a dinner and silent auction on Thursday, April 20. Both events will raise funds to support work being done by the over 3,000 Yale student volunteers who run community service programs throughout the Greater New Haven community under the auspices of Dwight Hall.

Some of the items featured in this year's auction include:

* A Yale Center for British Art package that includes a one-year membership, a private tour of one of its special exhibitions, an exhibit catalogue and a gift certificate to the Museum Store;

* Boutique wines from the Russian River Valley;

* A gift certificate to La Piazza;

* Babysitting services provided by the student leaders of Dwight Hall's executive committee; and

* Rare books, trips to exotic locales, special services and much more.

For a complete list of auction items, visit the website at www.dwighthall2006.cmarket.com.

To reserve tickets for the April 20 dinner and silent auction ($25 in advance; $30 at the door), call (203) 432-9041.
