Yale -- already the site of some of the action taking place in the Elm City this summer -- will be adding lights and cameras to the mix when it welcomes a crew from Paramount Pictures June 28-July 5.
The crew will be filming the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" movie series on campus. The campus, which was chosen for its Gothic aesthetics, will provide the backdrop for several scenes in the movie, which is set in the 1950s.
All members of the Yale community are invited to observe the filming. No special access or identification will be required.
Several streets will be temporarily closed at various times during the filming, including College, Chapel, Elm, High and Wall streets, as well as Derby Avenue.
While individuals will not be prevented from getting to their destinations, they should expect periodic delays.
Anyone with questions or concerns should contact Lauren Thompson at (203) 432-8198 or at lauren.thompson@yale.edu.
