Esty to discuss his book on environmental strategy

Daniel Esty, the Hillhouse Professor of Environmental Law and Policy and clinical professor of law, and Andrew Winston will discuss their book, "Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value and Build a Competitive Advantage," on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 5:30 p.m.

Y-NHH and International Adoption Clinic to host informational session

Yale-New Haven Hospital, in conjunction with the Yale International Adoption Clinic, will present an informational session for prospective adoptive parents on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital CH201 conference room.

The program will focus on general health, reviewing of medical records and childhood development issues in children adopted from abroad. The target audience is people at all stages of the adoption process, from those just considering adoption to those already in the process of adoption.

The cost for attending the seminar is $50. Pre-registration is required. For more information, brochures and registration, call (203) 688-2000.


Resor named preseason All-ECAC hockey league

Sophomore defenseman Helen Resor has been named preseason All-ECACHL.

Resor, who is returning to Yale after playing for Team USA in the Olympics last year, was selected in both the coaches' poll and the media poll.
