The lecture by Mark Malloch Brown, deputy secretary-general of the United Nations, originally slated for Oct. 18, has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 30.
Malloch Brown will discuss "The United Nations in the 21st Century: The Challenge of Managing Global Change" at 5 p.m. in Levinson Auditorium, Sterling Law Buildings, 127 Wall St. The talk is free and open to the public.
U.N. deputy secretary-general since 2005, Malloch Brown will reflect on the challenges for the United Nations in the years ahead, from the Middle East to the Millennium Development Goals, an effort to cut extreme world poverty in half by 2015.
