Loan program to aid international graduate/professional students
Yale has announced a loan program beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year
for international graduate and professional students.
The loans will have a 10-year repayment period, a 5% origination fee, a six-month
grace period following separation or graduation from the University, and no
co-signer requirement. These loans will carry a fixed interest rate of 7.75%.
Interest accrues during the in-school period and will be capitalized at the
end of the grace period.
These loans are for international graduate and professional school students
only. Application for these loans should be made at the financial aid office
of each school.
