A season that brings to mind outdoor concerts, picnics, swimming and boating, leisurely evenings meant for pursuing entertainment or recreation, and spare time to do the many things that were put off during other seasons, such as visiting an art gallery or attending a lecture. During June, July and August at Yale, these activities and other opportunities await summer students, staff and the many visitors to the campus.
This year, Yale will also cosponsor some special events -- including the first International Festival of Arts and Ideas and a jazz concert on the New Haven Green.
