The Yale Bulletin & Calendar has learned that another name should be added to the list of Elis competing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, which appeared in the June 24-July 22 issue.
Louise Van Voorhis '91 is representing the United States along with Brown University graduate Kris Farrar-Stookey in the women's 470 sailing event. The two did much of their training at the Yale Corinthian Yacht Club in Branford. They dominated the Olympic Trials, clinching first place on the second-to-last day of competition. Ms. Van Voorhis had previously been selected as first alternate on the 1992 Olympic team.
