There has been an addition and a change to the information printed in "Visiting on Campus" last week concerning Joel Cohen, a Rockefeller University professor and expert on theories about how many humans the world can support, who is coming to the University Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 20 and 21, as a guest of the School of Forestry and Environmental Sciences and the Zucker Fellowship Fund.
Professor Cohen will now be giving two lectures. The first, "Water Population: An Example of Trade-offs in the Earth Human Carrying Capacity," will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. in Luce Hall, 34 Hillhouse Ave. -- a change from the previously announced time and location. This lecture is part of a seminar series titled "World Population and Environmental Issues."
He will also present the Zucker Fellowship Lecture, titled "How Many People Can the Earth Support?" at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 in Davies Auditorium, Becton Center, 15 Prospect St.
Both talks are free and open to the public.
