Global arms trade

"The International Arms Trade, Conventional and Nuclear: Problems and Prospects" will be the focus of the third Policy Round Table sponsored by the Yale Center for International and Area Studies (YCIAS). The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, 4-6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Luce Hall, 34 Hillhouse Ave. Prof. Gustav Ranis, director of YCIAS, will chair the session.

Participants will include experts from academia as well as representatives from the International Aerospace Industries Association of America, the Arms Sales Monitoring Project of the Federation of American Scientists, Washington D.C.'s Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms.
