Yale's Office of New Haven Affairs is again asking members of the campus community to make the holidays extra special for a local child by giving a donation to the "Holiday Toys for Kids" drive.
The campus-wide drive will be held Dec. 1-12 this year. Yale community members are asked to drop off a donation of a new, unwrapped toy suitable for a child ages 5-13 in one of the campus collection boxes. The toys will be distributed to youngsters at the New Haven Boys and Girls Club annual holiday party.
The list of collection sites follows: lobby, 155 Whitney Ave.; Ray Tompkins House and the Payne Whitney Gymnasium on Tower Parkway; University Health Services, 17 Hillhouse Ave.; Sterling Hall of Medicine, 333 Cedar St.; Physical Plant, 2 Whitney Ave.; Kline Biology Tower dining hall, 219 Prospect St.; Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel St.; School of Management dining hall, 135 Prospect St.; Yale Univeristy Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St.; the Berkeley Divinity School and Center, 363 St. Ronan St.; School of Nursing, 100 Church St. South; Woodbridge Hall, 105 Wall St.; Office of New Haven Affairs, 433 Temple St.; and the department of engineering, second floor, Dunham Laboratory, 10 Hillhouse Ave.
