Sketchbooks, visual journals and albums of studies by noted artist Constance Pierce are currently on view in the Divinity School Library in an exhibit titled "Sketchbook Journals: Imaging the Interior." Ms. Pierce, who is currently a research fellow at the Divinity School's Institute of Sacred Music, created the works in watercolor, ink, graphic, pastel, collage and monotype over a span of 20 years. Her wide array of works includes journals of Biblical studies. The artist has taught many workshops on sketchbooks, including classes at the Smithsonian Institution's Art Studio. The exhibit of her works is free and open the public. For more information, call Martha Smalley at 432-6374.
