Volleyball's Wustrack again named Ivy Player of the Year

For the second year in a row, Yale College junior Rosanna ("Rosie") Wustrack, a member of the women's volleyball team, has been named Ivy League Player of the Year.

A unanimous selection to the All-Ivy First Team for the second consecutive year, Ms. Wustrack ranked second in the Ivy League in hitting percentage (.304) and was fourth in kills (3.43), fifth in digs (3.46), sixth in service aces (0.36) and sixth in blocks (0.93). She plays the position of middle blocker on the court. She led the Yale Bulldogs team this season in three categories: kills (367), service aces (39) and digs (370).

Ms. Wustrack helped the Bulldogs finish with an overall record of 18-13 and 4-3 in the Ivy League. The team
finished third in the Ivy League Championships behind Princeton, the champion team, and Dartmouth. Ms. Wustrack, who was selected as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year in 1995, was also named this year to the Championships'
All-Tournament Team.

Her Bulldogs teammate, Colette FitzGerald '01, was selected for All-Ivy Honorable Mention in recognition of her talent on the court this season.
