U.S. Postal Service officials will unveil a commemorative stamp honoring 1998 as the Chinese Year of the Tiger at a Chinese New Year Celebration being held 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the McDougal Graduate Student Center in the Hall of Graduate Studies, 320 York St.
The celebration is sponsored by the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Yale, a group of graduate students and faculty from the People's Republic of China. The event will feature food, entertainment and cultural activities. Members of the Yale and New Haven communities are invited.
