Carm Cozza, former head football coach, has been named to the 1997 Class of theKelly Tires Blue Gray All Star Football Classic Hall of Fame. He and the other new inductee -- coach Johhny Majors and players Forest Blue, Carl Banks and Mike Quick -- were elected by a nationwide media panel. A ceremony in their honor will be held on Sept. 30 during a black-tie reception in the Blue Gray Hall of Fame Room at the Montgomery Civic Center, with an induction banquet following at the Embassy Suites Hotel, at which ABC sportscastser Roger Twibell will serve as master of ceremonies.
Mr. Cozza led the Bulldogs for 32 years and compiled a 179-119-5 record.
