Dr. Joseph M. Piepmeier, professor of neurosurgery and vice chair
for clinical affairs at the School of Medicine, has been selected as
editor-in-chief of the Journal of Neuro-Oncology. He will begin his
five-year term on Jan. 1. Piepmeier joined the medical faculty in 1982 and
has directed the neuro-oncology program since 1987. He is the chair-elect
of the Joint Section on Tumors of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
