Exhibit of Cuban art. The School of Art's Holcombe T. Green Gallery was the site of an exhibition of contemporary works by artists of Cuban ancestry Aug. 11-22. Titled "Intersections/Intersecciones: An Exhibition of Cuban Artists," the exhibition was curated by Sherisse Alvarez, special events assistant for the School of Art. In assembling this show, she said, she sought to connect a diverse group of intergenerational artists in their relationship to the island of Cuba. The participating artists were Giovanni Bosch, Christian Curiel, Florencio Gelabert, Coco Fusco, Marco Lau, Leonel Matheu, Julio Armando Mendoza, Maritza Molina, Eduardo Muñoz Ordoqui, Chantal Perez, Hugo Perez, Jesus Rivera and Leandro Soto.
