Two professors will sign copies of their new books

Two members of the faculty will sign copies of their new books this week at Book Haven, 290 York St. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, Robert B. Stepto, professor of African-American Studies and of English, will sign "Blue as the Lake," a memoir of his childhood and family. On Wednesday, Oct. 28, David Brion Davis, Sterling Professor of History, will sign "The Boisterous Sea of Liberty" (coauthored with Steven Mitz), a chronicle of American history from discovery to the Civil War. Both events will
take place 4-5:30 p.m. Refreshments will
be served.
