Helene Schutrumpf scored 20 points and had five rebounds in Yale's overtime victory against Harvard on Feb. 17. The final score was 72-61.

In the Bulldogs' weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard which moved them into a first-place tie, senior Neil Yanke (Akron, OH) made 17 of 22 (77.2 percent) shots, scored 38 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. For his efforts he was selected as the Ivy League's Co-Player of the Week. In four games since returning from an ankle injury, Yanke is shooting 71.8 percent (28 of 39) from the field and averaging 17.5 points and 7.8 rebounds.

Against Harvard, Yale had 22 assists on its 23 field goals. Sophomore Ime Archibong (Greensboro, NC) led the way with five.

Sophomore Helene Schutrumpf (Boulder, CO) scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in the victory at Harvard. Senior Alyson Miller (Skokie, IL) added 15 points and six rebounds. Yale scored 19 points and made all four of its field goals in overtime.

Freshman Jamie Green (Los Angeles, CA) had Yale's top all-around score in the meet against Massachusetts, Alaska and MIT with a 38.025, including an impressive 9.7 in the floor exercise.


Men's Ice Hockey (12-13-0, 8-10-0 ECAC)

Senior Jeff Hamilton (Englewood, OH) had three goals and one assist against Rensselaer. He now has 159 career points and needs only two more to become Yale's all-time leader.

Junior Luke Earl (Simsbury, CT) had one goal and two assists against Rensselaer.


Women's Ice Hockey (3-19-2, 2-17-1 ECAC)

Men's Squash (15-2, 4-1 Ivy)

Yale can clinch a share of the Ivy title with a victory at Harvard.

Against Amherst, Yale won the second through nine positions by 3-0 scores. Seniors Josh Barenbaum (Philadelphia, PA) and Brian Smith (Woodbury, CT) were among the winners.

Senior Greg Royce (Rye, NY) was a three-set winner in the No. 1 position against both Colgate and Boston College. His overall record is 15-4.

Junior Andrea Goldberg (Albuquerque, NM) advanced to the semifinals of the Princeton Invitational before losing to the eventual champion. Sophomore Biffy Kaufman (La Jolla, CA) advanced to the quarterfinals before having to withdraw because of ankle injury.
