Yale recognized as 'good neighbor'
Interfaith Cooperative Ministries (ICM), an umbrella organization composed of 38 religious congregations throughout New Haven, presented an award to Yale on May 9 "in appreciation for the commitment and contributions made by Yale to the local community." The award citation stated, "We recognize and salute the University as a good friend and neighbor." Pictured here at the ceremony are (standing, from left to right): Norman Raschba, congregant of Mishkan Israel, Hamden; the Reverend Howard Nash, copresident of ICM and pastor of St. Bernadette Parish, New Haven; Bruce Alexander, vice president and director of Yale's Office of New Haven and State Affairs; and Michael Morand, associate vice president of Yale's Office of New Haven and State Affairs.
