Freshman Alex Gamboa (Reno, NV) led the Bulldogs in scoring against both Princeton and Pennsylvania. Against Princeton he made 7 of 9 shots from the field and finished with 15 points and three assists in 24 minutes. Against Penn he hit 5 of 7 three pointers en route to 15 points. He also added four assists. For his efforts Gamboa was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week.

Sophomore Christina Phillips (Hartford, CT) scored a career-high 18 points against both Princeton and Pennsylvania.
Senior Meg Simpson (Marietta, GA) has posted a double-double in three of the last six games. She had 13 points and 11 rebounds against Princeton.
Men's Fencing (7-6, 4-1 Ivy)
Last Week: Feb. 22 -- Yale 20, Harvard 7; Yale 16, Princeton 11.
This Week: March 2-3 -- IFA Championships (at Vassar)
Yale had two fencers go undefeated against Harvard and Princeton. Sophomore Byron Igoe (New York, NY) was 6-0 in the sabre, and junior Daniel Senft (Bonn, Germany) was 6-0 in the foil.

This Week: March 2-3 -- IFA Championships (at Vassar)
The victories over Harvard and Princeton clinched the Bulldogs' sixth Ivy League title and their first since 1999 when they shared the crown with Columbia and Princeton.
Sophomore Sada Jacobson (Atlanta, GA) won all six of her sabre bouts against Princeton and Harvard.
Gymnastics (2-2, 1-0 Ivy)

This Week: March 2 at New Hampshire Invitational
Sophomore Jamie Green (Los Angeles, CA) captured the Ivy League vault title with a 9.750. She also was second on the bars (9.7).
Sophomore Andrea Wolf (Seattle, WA) finished second in the all-around with a 38.100.
Men's Ice Hockey

Senior Dan Lombard (Andover, MA) was named ECAC Goalie of the Week. He made 38 saves, including several of the spectacular variety, against Dartmouth. Senior Spencer Rodgers (Surrey, BC) scored twice and added an assist against Vermont.
Senior Luke Earl (Simsbury, CT) scored twice in the victory over Dartmouth.

Senior Peter Grote (St. Louis, MO) rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win in the No. 2 position in the victory over Harvard.

Junior Susan Cooke (Vero Beach, FL) was named the Outstanding Swimmer at the Ivy League Championships. She was a triple winner, capturing the 200 (2:02.88) and 400 (4:17.58) individual medley and the 200 breaststroke (2:19.29).

The Bulldogs had two Heptagonal champions. Junior Kate O'Neill (Milton, MA) won the 3000 run (9:45.52) and junior Laura O'Neill (Milton, MA) captured the 5000 run (17:08.11).
