Pediatrician to discuss work on biological weapons as part of library series
George Miller, the John F. Enders Professor of Pediatrics (Infectious Diseases), will discuss "Germs: Biological Weapons and America's Secret War" by Judith Miller, Stephen Engelberg and William Broad on Thursday, March 7, as part of "Books Sandwiched In," a series of free book discussions sponsored by the Friends of the New Haven Free Public Library.
Miller's discussion of "Germs" will take place 12:10-12:50 p.m. at the United Church on the Green, corner of Temple and Elm streets.
Those who attend are invited to bring a lunch; coffee, tea and cookies will be available for purchase in the basement of the church 11:20 a.m.-12:10 p.m.
