Challenges of ensuring quality care to be
explored in forum on reproductive health

Current issues in reproductive health care will be addressed in a forum taking place on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the School of Nursing.

The "Forum on Reproductive Health Care: Access to and Financing of Care" is sponsored by the school's Nursing Center for Health Policy and Ethics. It will explore the challenge for policy makers, health care providers and members of the community of establishing and maintaining successful relationships to ensure that access to quality care is available to everyone along the economic spectrum.

The forum will take place 5-6:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall 118 of the School of Nursing, 100 Church Street South. The public is welcome to attend.

The guest speakers for the event are Connecticut State Senator Toni Harp of the 10th District, who is also assistant majority leader and chair of the Public Health Committee for the Connecticut State Legislature, and Susan Yolen, vice president of public affairs for Planned Parenthood of Connecticut.

Those interested in attending the conference should contact Casey Thomas at (203) 737-2652 or send e-mail to fredericka.grant@yale.edu.
