Violinist Wendy Sharp, a lecturer at the School of Music, will give a recital of works on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, corner of Orange and Wall streets. Sharp, a member of the Blue Elm Trio, will be joined by the other two members of that group, violist Marka Gustavsson and cellist Michelle Djokic. Part of the School of Music Faculty Artist Series, the program will include J.S. Bach's Partita #3 in E Major for Solo Violin, Zoltan Kodaly's Duo, Op. 7 for Violin and Violoncello and Mozart's Divertimento for Violin, Viola and Violoncello. Admission is free. Cellist Inbal Megiddo, a student at the School of Music, will perform her New York debut at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. She will perform two concertos with the Yale Players conducted by David Stern (son of the late Isaac Stern), and another piece with guitarist Ben Verdery, assistant professor (adjunct) at the School of Music. Constance Clement, acting director of the Yale Center for British Art, has announced that Malcolm Warner will be leaving the museum to accept the post of senior curator at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, effective Jan. 1, 2002. For the past five years, Warner has served as senior curator of paintings and sculpture. Julia Marciari Alexander, associate curator of paintings and sculpture, will assume the post of acting curator from Jan. 1 until Warner's successor is appointed.
