YSN hosting ENRS conference

The Yale School of Nursing and the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) is sponsoring a conference titled "Clinical Interventions: Bridging Research and Practice" Thursday-Saturday, March 27-29.

The conference, the 15th annual Scientific Sessions of ENRS, is being held at the Omni Hotel at Yale.

ENRS seeks to facilitate development of nurse researchers, influence development of scientific knowledge base relevant to nursing, and promote research-based nursing practice.

Every year the ENRS conference provides an opportunity for nurses to share cutting-edge research findings in a state-of-the-science forum for nurse scholars involved in education, practice, administration and research. Presentations focus on the relationship of intervention research to practice and the state of the science in clinical research.

This year's keynote speaker will be Jacqueline Dunbar-Jacob, dean and professor at the University of Pittsburgh, who will discuss "Managing Treatment Regimens: Research for Practice."

For information about the conference, visit the website at http://info.med.yale.edu/nursing/news/enrs.html.
