There were several errors in the May 23 issue of the Yale Bulletin & Calendar.
The caption for the photo on the cover showed President Richard C. Levin and Yale Club of Korea chair Seong Yawng with former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hon-Koo '61 M.A., '68 Ph.D., not former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Han-Dong.
International studies scholar Arjun Appadurai was appointed the William Clyde DeVane Professor for the fall of 2004-2005, not this coming term. The 2003-2004 DeVane Lectures will be presented by Annabel Patterson, the Sterling Professor of English. A story about Patterson and the lectures she will be presenting will appear in a later issue.
Also, the story about Yale College reunions in that same issue inadvertently switched the weekend programs that two classes are attending. The Class of 1988 took part in the May 29-June 1 reunion, while the Class of 1958 is participating in the June 5-8 event.
