Networking symposium

The Interdisciplinary Bioethics Project, a division of the Institution for Social and Policy Studies, will co-sponsor the Connecticut Institutional Review Board Educational and Networking Symposium next month.

The symposium will take place 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Connecticut Hospital Association, 110 Barnes Rd. in Wallingford.

Remembrance service

The Chaplain's Office will present a service of remembrance in Battell Chapel, Elm and College streets, on Wednesday, Dec. 8, noon-1 p.m.

Titled "A Service of Music, Silence and Light," the event will provide an opportunity for all members of the community to mark death and loss as needed. Individuals may attend for part or all of the hour.

YUWO holiday party

The Yale University Women's Organization (YUWO) will hold its annual holiday party on Sunday, Dec. 12, 5-7 p.m., in Betts House, 393 Prospect St.

The event will feature food and punch, a raffle and a silent auction. The party is open to YUWO members and their guests. The cost is $10 per person. For more information, call (203) 624-3316.
